DAM

High-resolution preview support (up to 50,000 px)

The maximum size for image preview generation has increased from 25,000 × 25,000 px to 50,000 × 50,000 px. Previews are now generated for supported file types, including images, SVGs, PDFs, and AI files within this limit. Files exceeding the limit will not generate a preview, and larger files may take longer to process.

Custom fonts for Office files previews

We’ve expanded font support for Office documents. Your custom typography will now render accurately in both file previews and all system-generated derivatives, including PDF versions.

Narrow search by Title or Description

Users can now refine searches using Search Options directly from the search bar. Suggestions allow selecting “Search in Title” or “Search in Description,” limiting results to matches within that field. This feature is available as early access and requires no additional permissions.

AI Search

Custom Vocabulary Improvements

Custom Vocabulary now supports two-word terms, allowing more accurate transcription of brand-specific phrases. The transcript interface is updated with separate tabs for transcript content and details, improving navigation and clarity. Vocabulary management requires Manage portal settings permission, and the feature is available to customers with the AI Search package.

Expanded Language Support (Migration)

AI Search is being migrated to a new multilingual model, improving how queries are understood across languages. Users can search in their native language using natural phrasing and receive consistent results across assets without changes to existing workflows. The rollout is gradual and applies to customers in US and global environments with the AI Search package.

CX User Community

Convert between Landing Page and Guide Page layouts

Users can now convert Landing Pages to Guide Pages and vice versa. The conversion duplicates the page content into the selected layout, allowing reuse without rebuilding content. This action is available to users with edit permissions for both page types.

Adaptive Video – Engagement Metrics

We now offer engagement metrics coming from our own video player. Metrics are based on viewed time rather than load events, with precision increased from 6-second intervals to 1-second intervals. Reporting also includes URL-level data instead of domain-level aggregation.

Asset Workflow Dashboard

The Asset Workflow Dashboard in Advanced Analytics provides a centralized view of asset creation and approval processes, including metrics on job status, throughput times, and team activity. Users can filter and drill down into workflow data to identify delayed jobs and analyze performance trends.

Floating footers across your DAM

We’ve grouped footer links such as Privacy Policy, Cookies, Help, and Support in a floating bar that you can move around to keep things tidy, away from page content, and accessible throughout your DAM.

Branded Emails

Emails sent from Bynder will get a new look & feel, they will be branded based on your Portal’s color setting and will use your account logo and account name. This will happen automatically, no configuration or setup required. Supported emails in this release include password reset, user-related emails, user CSV export, support form emails, and saved smart filter emails. More emails will follow soon.

A consistent Smartfilter interface

Smartfilters now use updated checkboxes, dropdowns, and layouts for a more consistent interface across the platform. These updates align Smartfilters with other areas of Bynder, improving navigation and usability.

Drupal

An optional status indicator is added to the Bynder–Drupal integration to handle assets that are still processing at the time of selection. After asset selection, the system checks if the required derivative is available and displays a progress message while polling for completion. Once ready, the asset is inserted automatically, and the feature can be enabled through module configuration.
