Summary

Bynder’s Universal Compact View is a configurable, pre-built UI component providing a window into your DAM for searching and selecting assets from within another system. Used in many of our existing integrations, it is easily implemented, saving time and money, and accelerating the process of developing integrations into other systems.

Who?

This feature/solution requires your Customer Success Contact to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.

Searching Assets

The search bar in the left top corner of the Universal Compact View can be used for searching assets. The search functionality in the Compact Screen works the same as in the portal.

Filtering Assets

Metaproperties

The metaproperties are available in the top filter bar and can be used to filter for assets easily.

Note: For a metaproperty to appear in the Compact view, the 'API field' setting needs to be enabled. Contact your Bynder Admin for help.

Smart Filters

If Smart Filters are set up for your portal, they are available in the top filter bar and can be used to filter for assets easily. In order for a smart filter to show in the Compact view, the underlying metaproperties need to have the setting 'API field' enabled.

Advanced search

You can use the advanced filter for advanced search operations. At this moment the advanced filter only allows search by file type.
