Notification Channel Expansion

Ten existing notifications are now available via both email and in-app, including notifications for Asset Lifecycle, Waiting Room, Bynder Express, UAR, and Collections. A new notification has also been added for Bynder Express file downloads.

User Management Cleanup

Inactive users with pending or rejected access requests no longer appear in User Management, Bulk Editor, User CSV exports, or User APIs. This provides admins with a more accurate view of users and prevents accidental access changes.

Notification Preference Center

Users can now manage their notification preferences from a dedicated User Preferences page. They can subscribe or unsubscribe from specific notifications and choose to receive them by email, in-app, or both.

Universal Compact View Updates

Universal Compact View now supports video derivatives, DAT Preset folder organization, and aligns DAT Transform access with the Create Transformations permission. User Export CSV has also been improved to reliably support portals with up to 150,000 users, while applying the same filters admins use on the User Management page.

AI Agents

PDF and Document Support

Brand Compliance Agent can now check PDFs, Word documents, and PowerPoint files for brand compliance. PDF issues include the relevant page number, and PDFs can be previewed directly in the compliance report.

Uploader Details for Enrichment Agents

Enrichment Agents can now read the uploader’s username, email, user group, and permission profile. These details can be used in agent instructions to automatically populate metadata based on who uploaded an asset.

Asset Archive Management

Enrichment Agents can now read and update an asset’s archive status and scheduled archive date. Admins can define rules that set these values based on asset content or existing metadata.

Transformation Agent Dashboard

Admins can now track Transformation Agent usage, including total transformations, credit costs, assets saved or downloaded, features used, and active users. Usage can be filtered by transformation type, user, group, profile, source, and date range.

Metadata Inheritance for AI-Transformed Assets

AI-transformed assets can now inherit metaproperties from their original asset when saved back to the DAM. Metaproperties can be configured for Transformation Agent outputs or selected when saving from the AI-powered Image Editor.

File Metadata for Brand Compliance

Brand Compliance rules can now use existing file metadata and asset information, including dimensions, DPI, aspect ratio, file type, usage status, tags, and archive dates. This allows technical and production requirements to be checked alongside visual brand rules.\

Font Recognition in PDFs and Documents

Brand Compliance Agent can now check font family, size, weight, and style in PDFs and documents. Fonts that don’t meet configured brand rules are flagged in the compliance report with the page where the issue was found.
