Collections Dashboard in Advanced Analytics

The Collections Dashboard in Advanced Analytics provides a comprehensive view of your portal's collections. This includes key metrics such as the number of collections, assets within collections, collection shares, and more. By analyzing these metrics, you can gain a deep understanding of how your digital asset collections are performing and being used, optimize your content strategy, improve user engagement, and ensure your collections are effectively managed and utilized.

Your Collection permission type will impact the information available on certain dashboards.

Collections: Total number of collections created in your portal.

A high number of collections indicates active organization and categorization of assets. Ensure collections are relevant and well-maintained.

Assets in Collections: Number of assets included in collections.

Evaluate if assets are being effectively grouped. High asset numbers in collections suggest good utilization of the collection feature.

Collection Shares: Total number of times a Collection has been shared.

High sharing activity indicates collaborative usage. Review the types of collections being shared to understand their importance and usage patterns. If similar collections are being shared repeatedly, perhaps you could create a public collection with related materials that are visible to all users.

Collection Shares by Login: Breakdown of collection shares requiring login versus those that do not.

Assess security and accessibility. Collections shared without login may require scrutiny for sensitive content.

Collection Shares by Access: Breakdown of shared Collections that are viewed vs non-viewed.

Identify collections that are not being accessed despite being shared. This could indicate issues with relevance or awareness.

Collection Views Over Time: Number of collection views over a specific period.

Look for trends and peaks in views. Peaks might correlate with marketing activities or specific events.

Collection Views By Collection: Number of views per collection.

Identify the most and least viewed collections. Use this data to determine popular content and improve less-viewed collections.

Collection Views By User: Users who have viewed collections.

Understand user engagement levels. Identify active users and those who might need more training or encouragement to engage with collections.

Assets Metrics

Collection Assets: Detailed information on assets within collections.

Monitor asset performance within collections. Identify high-performing assets and analyze what makes them successful to replicate this across other assets.
