Understanding The Collections Dashboard

Summary

The Collections Dashboard provides valuable insights to track how assets are being shared and viewed both internally and externally.

Who?

This feature/solution requires Customer Support to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.

Once Advanced Analytics is enabled users need the View advanced reporting permission to access this dashboard.

Why?

By tracking key metrics users can clearly identify who is viewing, sharing, or downloading content in collections. Optimize content distribution based on real usage, identify underperforming or outdated content, detect and mitigate governance risks, and make data-informed decisions on asset investment and portal structure.

How?

  1. Navigate to the Analytics section and open the Collections tab.

  2. Filter the results based on the data needed. Use filters to segment data by date, user group, or share type for more targeted insights.

    Note: Combine days since last open and downloads/views = 0 to identify stale collections.

  3. Review the filtered metrics.

  4. Click on a metric to see detailed usage.
