Customize the Privacy Policy in your Portal

You can customize the privacy policy that appears in our portal. The policy displays when a user clicks the Privacy policy tab within their Bynder portal.

Once you enable your custom privacy policy it will become the default privacy policy link within your cookie banner.

Create and Update the Privacy Policy

Who can create and update the Terms & Conditions?

Users with the following permission can create and update the Terms & Conditions:

  • Manage portal settings

  1. Navigate to  Settings > Advanced settings > Portal settings.

  2. Click Privacy Policy in the left sidebar.

  3. Title: Enter or edit the title for the Privacy Policy.

  4. Content: Enter or edit the title for the Privacy Policy.

  5. Click Save.

NOTE: We do not currently support multiple languages in the Privacy Policy.

NOTE: To use HTML formatting, you will need to use the standard HTML format, such as <b> in order to apply formatting. Using curly brackets will not work. 

Delete the Privacy Policy

Who can delete the Privacy Policy?

Users with the following permission can delete the Privacy Policy:

  • Manage portal settings

  1. Navigate to brand_guidelines_image_settings.pngSettings > Advanced settings > Portal settings.

  2. Click Privacy Policy in the left sidebar.

  3. Click Delete policy and then confirm.

  4. This will remove your Privacy Policy from the portal.
