If you are not a registered user, for example, you are a photographer doing a photo shoot for a company, you can still easily upload the photos into the company's Asset Library. In this way the assets reach the right users and the users can immediately start working with the new assets.

I am an external user and want to upload files
Go to the login page of the portal.

Drag and drop the assets into the External Uploader field. The upload starts automatically.
Note
There is no limit to the number of files per upload batch. The default maximum file size per file is 50GB.
Unsupported browsers may have lower file size limitations.

Enter the email address of one or more recipients or make a selection from the predefined list of recipients.
Note
Separate email addresses with a comma.
Enter your email address.
(Optional) Type a message to the recipient.
(Optional) If required, provide the archive date.
Click Send files.
The files are uploaded to the portal's Waiting Room for audit. The recipient gets an email notification that the files have been uploaded with a direct link to download the files.

I am an administrator
Sometimes you work with external parties such as photographers or agencies that do not have an account but still need to upload material to your portal. Here is where the External Uploader comes in.
This tool allows external users to drop their files for approval. The files are uploaded to the portal's Waiting Room for audit. The recipient gets an email notification that the files have been uploaded with a direct link to download the files. Read more about the customizations that can be set up below.
Hide the External Uploader
The uploader is enabled by default, but it is possible to hide it. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you want to hide the External Uploader from the login page.
Maximum file size
There is no limit to the number of files per upload batch. The default maximum file size per file is 50GB, but this can be changed. Contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss what the possibilities are.

Require users to login
Do you want to avoid that external users can download files shared by the External Uploader without having to login? Ask your Customer Success Manager to make it required for users to login when downloading their files.

Provide your Customer Success Manager with a list of approved recipients, so that they can help you setting this up.

Terms and conditions
Do you want to have terms and conditions for using the External Uploader? Provide your Customer Success Manager with the terms and conditions you would like to have in place, so that they can help you setting this up.
