You can share the direct URL of the content in Guides and Landing Pages with other logged-in users. Internal users can copy the direct URLs to Guides, Pages, and Landing Pages, which they can access and share with other internal users.
You can create and share direct links to specific content within the CX User Community, such as Guides and Landing Pages. These tailored links streamline navigation by directing users to relevant sections.
Before you Share the Guide or Landing Page URL
If the guide is not public, make sure that the users you are sharing the link with are the following:
- Have an account in the portal
- Have Guides permissions enabled in their permission profile
- Have access to the Guide
How to Share Direct URL to a Guide or Landing Page
- Navigate to Guides or Landing Pages.
- Hover over the content you want to share.
- Navigate to Share.
- Select
- The link will be copied to your clipboard.
- If the Copy link option isn't available, you can search for the users, groups, or profiles to share that way.
How to Share the Direct URL of a Chapter or Page within a Guide
You can copy the direct URL to a title element on your chapter or page. Users who open this link will navigate directly to this specific chapter or page of a guide.
- Navigate to the Guide you would like to share.
- Select the Chapter or Page you want to share.
- If you are in edit mode, select
the Copy link.
- If you are in view mode, select
- The link will be copied to your clipboard, and you can share the Page or Chapter with other internal users.
Copy the Share Link from the Guide Overview Page
You can also copy the URL of the entire Guide within the Guide overview page.
- Navigate to your CX User Community tab's Guides or Landing Pages section.
- Hover over the content you want to share.
- Select
> Copy Link.
- The link will be copied to your clipboard, and you can share the Guide or Landing Page with internal users.
