Exploring the Asset Detail View

The Asset Detail View provides a comprehensive overview of an individual asset metadata, version history, permissions, and usage. This view is crucial for understanding asset-specific details, making edits, tracking usage, and managing rights.

Metadata

Metadata is crucial for organizing and retrieving digital assets efficiently. In the asset detail view, you can view associated metaproperty fields, automated tags, copyright information, and custom fields specific to your organization. Properly tagging and categorizing assets enhances searchability and ensures consistent usage across projects.

Usage Rights and Permissions

Understanding an asset's usage rights and permissions is essential for compliance purposes. The asset detail may include information on licensing, usage restrictions, and expiration dates.

Download Options

You can view and download the related assets, variations, derivatives, or DAT transformations if enabled.

Sharing Options

Options for sharing the asset may include a link to a file or an option to embed media.

Collections Tab

The Collections tab in the sidebar shows an overview of collections you own, have been shared with you, or are published online. This allows you to see how the asset is being organized and shared across your portal without leaving the detail view.
