View Assets in the Asset Bank

The Asset Bank o provides access to your organization’s most recent and valuable assets. You can search for assets and then choose to share, download, or add them to a collection.

By clicking on an asset's thumbnail, you can view the Asset Detail or Info tab. This tab displays metaproperties, version history, and usage rights, giving users all the necessary information to manage and use assets efficiently.

Each user's view of the Asset Bank and Asset Detail may vary based on their permissions or account settings. To learn more about Asset Bank Permissions, click here. If necessary, contact your Bynder Admin to gain additional permissions. 

How to View Assets in Asset Bank

  1. Navigate to your Portal.
  2. Select the Asset tab.
  3. By default, assets are displayed in a grid view, showcasing thumbnail previews of each file. This view provides a quick overview of your assets, allowing you to identify the content visually.Screenshot 2024-06-14 at 10.38.39 AM.png
  4.  Use the search bar to enter keywords related to the asset you seek. Additionally, you can apply filters based on file type, upload date, tags, and other metadata or sort assets to narrow down the results.
  5. Once you've selected the assets, you can share, download, or create a collection.
  6. To view the details of the asset, click the asset thumbnail. This will open a detailed view of the asset where you can find the following information in the info tab or asset detail view.Screenshot 2024-06-14 at 9.52.05 AM.png

Note

If you would like to see the asset on a larger scale without clicking into the file, you can enable the pop-over feature in your portal.

How to View Related Assets

If the related assets feature is enabled in your portal, you can easily view assets that are linked or connected to the one you're currently viewing.

  1. Navigate to the Asset Bank.
  2. Select an asset to open its Asset Detail View.
  3. In the bottom-left corner of the Asset Detail View, you'll see a section labeled Related Files.
  4. Click on any of the related files, and you'll be directed to the Asset Detail View of the selected asset.
