Sort Assets in Asset Bank

Summary

Learn how to sort assets in the Asset Bank to navigate your media library efficiently. By default, assets in the Asset Library are sorted by Date Published in descending order.

You can combine the sorting options with ascending or descending order. For instance, assets can be sorted from the most recent to the least recent, or alphabetically from A-Z or Z-A. Use the arrow icon to toggle between ascending and descending sorting.

To help navigate through your assets you have several options for sorting assets:

• Order by Date Added: View assets based on when they were added to the Assets Bank.
• Order by Date Published: Sort assets by their publication date or the time they were viewed. Future publication dates are taken into account and displayed accordingly.
• Order by Date Modified: Arrange assets by the date they were last modified.
• Order by Name: Sorts assets alphabetically (A–Z or Z–A) by their Bynder Title.
  • Note: When you upload an asset, Bynder automatically uses the original file name as the title until you edit it.
