What are Advanced Rights

Advanced Rights in Bynder's DAM enable administrators to manage and restrict asset visibility and accessibility. This includes applying specific restrictions, such as mark as public, watermarking, limiting usage, or archiving, to ensure that the appropriate content is available to the right users at the right time. Advanced rights can be combined with managing visibility on a metaproperty level. This provides a granular level of control, ensuring that different teams or departments have appropriate access to assets based on their roles.

Advanced Rights Options

Mark As Public: This generates a URL for the asset, which can be shared with non-Bynder users or linked to your website.

Watermarking: Automatically apply watermarks to assets based on specific criteria. This helps protect intellectual property, ensuring that sensitive content is only available in its fully usable form to authorized users.

Limited Usage: Mark certain assets as "Limited Usage " to restrict their use. This can be applied to assets that are for internal use only or have licensing restrictions, ensuring compliance with legal agreements.

Archiving: Assets marked as archived are hidden from general view and excluded from search results but remain stored in the DAM. Archiving is useful for managing assets' lifecycles and keeping the active library clean and relevant.
