Edit and Delete Tags

You can modify a tag if it is spelled incorrectly or if the terminology has changed. By editing the tag in Tag Management, the changes will be applied to all assets where the tag is used.

Edit a Tag

1. Navigate to your Portal.
2. Select Settings > Taxonomy > Tags.
3. Either navigate the list or search for a specific tag in the Search tags box.
   • Tip: You can change the sort order by clicking Tags (ascending) and selecting the sort option from the dropdown.
4. Click the tag name to edit it.
5. Click away when done to save the new tag name automatically.

Delete a Tag

If you delete a tag, it'll also be removed from the assets where it had been tagged.

1. Navigate to your Portal.
2. Select Settings > Taxonomy > Tags.
3. Either navigate the list or search for a specific tag in the Search tags box.
   • Tip: You can change the sort order by clicking Tags (ascending) and selecting the sort option from the dropdown.
4. Click  next to the tag you want to delete.
5. To remove multiple tags at once, click the checkbox next to the tags, then select .
6. Review the disclaimer, then click Delete Tag.
