Keyword tags help you to classify and describe your assets. Whereas metaproperties can be considered high-level categories, keyword tags can be used to provide detailed information on an asset level. You can manually tag your assets or use Bynder’s automated tags.
Tag management allows you to add, remove, and delete tags.

Create tags
Tags in Bynder are created in a few different ways:
- Users can create new tags as they're uploading or editing assets.
- Tags are created if assets have keyword tags embedded, such as from stock providers or if your users add tags outside of Bynder.
Note
This functionality cannot be disabled.
- Bynder can automatically tag your images after upload. Learn more about automated tags here.
