How To Export A Design In Studio

Summary

Once you are done with a design in Studio, you can export your variation(s) to either the Waiting Room to be added to the Asset Bank, or download the variation(s) to the users device.

Who?

This feature/solution requires your Customer Success Contact to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.

Don't yet have Bynder? Start Here!

Once Studio is enabled this feature is available to all users, aside from Batch Export which is available to Advanced Studio users only.

Why?

Studio users need to be able to use the creations made in Studio within Bynder, or other external tools.

How?

Export A Studio Design As A PDF

  1. Finalize your design in Studio.
  2. Click the Export button.
  3. Choose the pages you wish to export.
  4. From the Format dropdown menu, select the PDF option.
  5. Click Download or Send-to-waiting-room, and the PDF will be generated and downloaded.

Note: PDF files are "flat" for graphics, but text should be able to be derived.

Batch Export

  1. Navigate to the assets, go to the main design overview or open a specific Project.
  2. In a project overview or from the general design overview; click the checkbox on the top righthand corner to multi-select the designs you wish to export, or press select-all within a project.
  3. The "export all" button will appear at the top right of the screen once one or more items are selected. Click the "Export all" button.
  4. An "Export Settings" dialog box will open. Select the desired file format, quality, and any other relevant export options. Note: These settings will be applied to all selected assets.
  5. Click the final Export button in the dialog box to begin the process. Each design will be sent to the rendering queue individually.

Note: Fly-in notifications will alert you to the status change of each individual export Job. Auto-download will start for each export job individually (depending Browser setting). Navigate to the Activity Log to view the status of each individual export job or to (re)download completed jobs.
