How To Configure Export Rights In Studio

Summary

Admins and Content Designers configure what export options are available in Studio for the Content Creator. Users can export by downloading the asset(s) from Studio directly, or by sending them to the Waiting Room for approval, both export options can be active at the same time. 

Who?

This feature/solution requires your Customer Success Contact to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.

Once Studio is enabled users with the Admin or Content Designer permission can configure exports.

Why?

Bynder understands that your content should only be exportable by the parties deemed appropriate. Enabling customizable export options allows Admins and Content Designers to have full control of how content is exported on a design and template level.

How?

  1. Navigate to Studio.
  2. Create a new design or edit an existing design or template.
  3. Select Edit Design. Screenshot 2024-01-11 at 4.01.36 PM.png
  4. In the top right corner select the  Screenshot 2024-01-10 at 8.18.50 PM.png button -> and select Design settings. Image1.png
  5. From the Export dropdown menu, select which options you want enabled. Image2.png
    • Download & Waiting Room: Users will be able to directly download the output file(s), or send them to the Waiting Room.
    • Download only: Users can only download the output file(s).
    • Waiting Room only: The output files will be sent to the Waiting Room for approval before being able to be downloaded.
  6. Click Publish.
