Summary
Saving and publishing your progress while creating content is Studio is simple and integral. Saving allows the Admin or Content Designer who is updating the content to ensure their work is stored, as Studio does not have built-in auto-save functionality. Publishing the design allows the updates to be shared with those who have access to the content, making the latest version available.
Who?
This feature/solution requires your Customer Success Contact to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.
Once Studio is enabled Admins and Content Designers can use this feature.
Why?
While using Bynder Studio it is important to remember that the solution does not have an auto-save feature. Bynder recommends saving your progress while in the editor at regular intervals to avoid possible loss of work. Publishing will save your progress in the editor, and make the changes available for end users. In this case it is important to only publish your work when you know the changes you have made should be available to users the content has been shared with. If a design has variations publishing a design will update the design and all variations associated with the design.
How?
- Navigate to Studio.
- Either create a new design or edit an existing design.
- Make your desired updates in the Design Editor and click the
button to open the dropdown. Click Save changes.
-
Once you're happy with your changes click Publish in the upper righthand corner.
-
-
-
Publishing your changes will make the updates visible to users who have access to the design.
-
Publishing your changes will also save your changes.
