Who?

Users who have upgraded their Bynder contract to enable the Bynder AI search experience. Want to upgrade your portal to have all of these dynamite features? Contact your Bynder Customer Success Representative to upgrade your Bynder experience.

Why?

These features provide additional control over managing duplicate assets or close matches and help users to easily discover visually similar assets. Once the feature is enabled, you can use it directly in your Bynder portal. Bynder's AI features add a level of time-saving and efficiency like never before!

 

Bynder's AI Offerings:

Similarity Search

Similarity Search takes a visual approach, is not dependent on metadata, and works across the entire library of assets, whether images are tagged or not. It ranks the entire library or selected images instantly, allowing the user to see the assets with the most visual similarity. Multi-target Similarity Search is perfect for redefining a search or for creating a complex search for ambiguous topics like fun, climate, and leadership through images. 

Search by Image

You can use Search by Image to quickly see if similar assets are uploaded to your Bynder portal when you find an image you like elsewhere. You can use the external image URL to find similar images and avoid buying the same or similar stock images multiple times.

Text-in-Image Search

Text-in-Image allows users to search for images containing the text you want directly from your Bynder portal's search bar. This can help the user find assets they want to use in campaigns, or to find assets to archive due to outdated slogans and phrases at the click of a button.

AI-Powered Duplicate Finder

AI-Powered Duplicate Finder uses advanced AI technology to streamline asset management by detecting and managing duplicate files across all Bynder-supported file types, including images, documents, and videos. Using this feature allows you to have complete control to prevent and manage duplicates before upload and while in the waiting room.

Speech-to-Text for Video and Audio Assets

Speech-to-Text automatically generates transcripts for audio and video assets in your Bynder DAM. This feature uses AI to automatically convert audio from over 100 languages into transcripts, making these assets easily searchable.

AI Face Recognition 

Save time by automatically tagging recognized faces using Bynder's AI Face Recognition feature. You can quickly search for and find assets featuring specific individuals, even across a large volume of assets.

Natural Language Search

Natural Language Search(NLS) helps users search for images in the portal using simple, everyday language. With NLS, users can quickly find image assets with or without tags. Bynder’s Natural Language Search is fully optimized for English. While also supporting simple queries in languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Italian, German, Dutch, and Polish, the most accurate and reliable results are achieved in English. NLS is unlike conventional searches that depend solely on metadata, as NLS uses AI to interpret keywords and the visual content of assets, providing intuitive and precise results with ease. 

Note: The DAT derivate, a manual derivative, and default derivatives don’t suffice as an AI Search derivative. Get in touch with your Customer Success Contact as a new derivative may need to be generated to ensure that all assets are included for Bynder's AI tools.

FAQs

Do these features work for assets uploaded via Integrations Hub or Partner Connector?

You can search for assets directly using the API and UCV search bar with Text-in-Image and Speech-to-Text. AI search can also be used from external applications or other Bynder Integrations and Partner Connectors.

Do I need an image derivative configuration for AI Search?

Yes, AI Search needs at minimum 1 derivative to ensure optimal working. Upon activation your Onboarding team will review your existing derivative setup. If needed, a new derivative will be setup for you and generated on all your assets.
