Summary

Bynder's Similarity Search allows users to easily find similar images within the Asset Bank, without needing to rely on metadata. This can be helpful if you’re looking for images of a particular product or images that may have a similar look and feel to group together in a collection.

Who?

This feature/solution can only be enabled by your Customer Success Contact.

Once the feature is enabled all users will have access to Similarity Search.

Note: Any permission restrictions set on an image asset will be honored and will affect if an image asset is retrievable using this feature.

Why?

Keeping the Asset Bank clean and up-to-date is even easier with Bynder's Similarity Search. This allows Bynder users to find similar images and manage them as needed. Combing through a full Asset Bank can take an exceptional amount of time, but with Similarity Search users can find exactly what images they are looking for with the click of a button.

How?

    1. Navigate to the Asset Bank.
    2. Hover over an image and click Show similar, or users can view images in the Asset Detail View and by clicking the show similar button. Results are based on the asset selected. Screenshot 2024-04-08 at 1.15.25 PM.png
      • Users can select multiple images and click the Screenshot 2023-11-17 at 2.32.01 PM.png button in the toolbar. The results are then based on the similarity of all of the selected images.
