Adding a star rating field for assets in Bynder allows users to quickly identify popular or frequently used assets. By creating a rating metaproperty, you can assign ratings to assets and enable rating-based searches.

Who Can Set Up and Use the Rating System?

  • Set Up the Rating System: Only users with permissions to create and edit metaproperties.
  • Update/Edit Ratings on Assets: Users with permission to upload or edit assets.
  • Search for Rated Assets: If the rating system is added as a smart filter, all users can view and filter assets by rating.

  2. Select Field Type. Depending on how you want users to apply ratings, choose either Single Select or Multi Select.
