How can users find out what Bynder knows about them?

Tell your users to go into their 'edit profile' page, where they can find the information we have about them.

How can users change their personal information stored in the Bynder portal?

Advise your users to go to their 'edit profile' page, where they can easily change their personal details except from their email address. As an admin you can change the email address of a user in user management. Read more about managing users here.

How can users export their personal data?

Users can export their data by going to their 'edit profile' page. Depending on whether they have workflow access, they will have two buttons available 'Export data' and 'Export workflow data'. By clicking on these buttons their personal data will be exported to a CSV file.

How can users have their personal data permanently removed?

In order to permanently remove personal data, a user account needs to be deleted first. After removal, all personal data belonging to that user will be permanently removed from our records . Assets that users uploaded before and any other event they were involved in, such as workflow jobs, will no longer be on their name. Instead, a label with 'Removed User' will be displayed.

Users who want to have their personal data permanently removed, can easily delete their account by going to their 'edit profile' and clicking on the 'delete' button. This will permanently remove their account from the Bynder environment and this cannot be undone.

How can users delete their previously uploaded files in Orbit?

If a user does not have permission to delete files, you can decide to remove the files for them. Filter on the files they uploaded using the advanced filter, so that you can delete them easily. Read more about deleting files here.

How can I permanently remove my Bynder portal?
