Slack is a messaging app for businesses that connects people to the information they need. By bringing people together to work as one unified team, Slack transforms the way organizations communicate. Bynder offers two different Slack connectors, Slack Notifications and Slack App.
With Bynder's Slack integration, you can instantly turn updates made within your Bynder DAM into messages in Slack so that everyone will have the most up-to-date information. You'll be able to work from both platforms and stay synchronized!

Once the integration has been configured, the original email address from Step 6 will receive an email notifying them the configuration was successfully set up.
Changes made within the Bynder DAM will now be sent directly to the Slack channel, group, or individual you selected. Notifications will come from the person who set up the integration -it will appear in the selected Slack channel, depending on the type of update information that appears will vary.
The following actions will elicit a notification to Slack:
-
Upload a new asset or version
-
Archive/set an asset to be archived.
-
Delete an asset
-
Change the metaproperty
Once the above action is complete, the following will appear in the Slack notification:
-

-
Name of person (this appears when adding a new asset)
-
Internal Bynder Asset link

If you want to disable the integration, update your Slack channel, or edit the time intervals, you can edit the configuration.
