How To Use Maintenance Pop-Ups In Bynder

Summary

As an Admin, you may need to make some changes to the Bynder Portal. Changes such as updating the Portal URL or changing SSO configuration will require a Maintenance Window, as they may affect users' ability to log in and use the Portal in a specific time frame. In these situations, you may want to notify the users in advance of upcoming maintenance to avoid unnecessary tickets and issue reports.

This feature/solution can only be enabled by your Customer Success Contact.

Inform your users about maintenance that will occur in their portal so they do not assume things are broken. 

How?

This feature/solution requires Customer Support to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.

Customization Options:

We can customize the title and the body of the maintenance pop-ups to include the solution that might be down, the exact times of the maintenance period, and more. We can enable the message for specific accounts and set an expiry date after which the message will disappear. 

The Title and body of the Maintenance Popup can be translated into different languages. 

Basic HTML formatting is supported.
