Summary

Bynder Studio allows users to create groups of elements for ease of design. These groups can be manipulated to further customize and scale the designs created within Studio. Groups can be saved as presets, and used throughout multiple designs, making them a handy tool within the Studio feature.

Who?

This feature/solution requires your Customer Success Contact to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.

Understanding Certain Group Behaviors

  • Groups that contain locked elements can still be scaled and moved on the canvas.
    • If the entire group is locked then you cannot scale and move the elements.
  • Text does scale proportionally within a group.
  • The spacing with text backgrounds does not scale proportionally within groups.
  • The blur and offset of drop shadows does not scale proportionally within groups.
  • The corner radius and border weight does not scale proportionally within groups.
  • The text outline weight does not scale proportionally within groups.
