Marketo Integration

  • Updated

Adobe Marketo Engage is a marketing automation software that allows you to streamline, automate, and measure marketing tasks and workflows so you can increase operational efficiency and grow revenue faster.

The Marketo integration allows you to sync assets from your Bynder DAM to a Marketo folder via a Bynder tag. This enables teams to work more efficiently without having to work in two separate systems and ensures content is always up to date.

How to enable the Marketo integration

Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more about enabling the Marketo integration.

Before setting up the integration

Prior to setting up the integration in Bynder, you’ll need to make a few preparations in Marketo.

    Note

If you would like to sync all assets to Marketo, you can leave the Asset Tag section blank. Any asset uploaded to your Asset Bank will then be uploaded to Marketo.

  9. Click Next.
  10. A Bynder Assets folder will be created in Marketo automatically, which is where assets will be uploaded.

    Note

    • Please wait while the folder is being created.
    • Do not edit the Folder ID.
  11. Click Next, then Finish.

How to use the integration

After configuration, assets with the tag indicated in the configuration will upload to the Bynder Assets folder in Marketo. Assets are uploaded ~5 minutes after being tagged.

If you delete a Bynder asset from your Bynder Asset Bank, it will not automatically be deleted from Marketo. If you delete a synced asset from the Marketo folder, it will not automatically be reuploaded to Marketo.

If you upload a new version of a Bynder asset, it will be uploaded to Marketo as a new file.
