How to Add Text in Guides and Landing Pages

Summary

In addition to adding media widgets, you can fully personalize your Landing Page or Guide by customizing text and creating tailored tables.

Who?

This feature/solution requires Customer Support to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.

Once CXUC is enabled users will need the Creator or Manager permission to create Guides and Landing Pages. Users will need to request the AI Assistant feature from Customer Support to be added to the waitlist for when it is live globally.

Why?

Ultimate customization within CXUC Guides and Landing Pages is what Bynder offers. One such customization is an expanded text widget option. Now Bynder offers an AI Assistant for text generation, revisions, and improvement, as well as translations, and even rewriting existing copy to assist in brand consistency.

How?

Using A Text Widget

  1. Select Screenshot 2025-04-07 at 10.57.29.pngto add the available text styles to your page.
  2. Write and manage your content in the text editor
  3. The widget will periodically save automatically during editing.

Note: Bynder has a legacy text widget and a new text widget. All text that was configured with the legacy text widget can be edited, updated, reordered, and deleted, but new text widgets will use the updated text widget and not the legacy option.

Using Bynder's Conversational AI Assistant For Text Widgets

  1. Select a guide, landing page, or homepage.

  2. Enter edit mode, and select a Text Widget or create a new one.

Note: Only text widgets that are part of the improved text widget can interact with this feature.

  3. Select the AI ✨ button from the menu toolbar to open the Conversational AI window. The Conversational AI window will now appear on the right-hand side. The text widget box above the text area, indicates the current context of the conversation.

  4. From the Conversational AI window ask the AI to create or transform the copy within the selected Text Widget. Some common requests include:

    • Translate content into another language

    • Summarize content

    • Extend content

    • Improve writing

The Conversational AI window will now either:

    • Respond with clarifying questions (e.g.: please specify which language you want to translate this content into) or,

    • Complete the task and present the transformed/generated content back to the user.

  5. The user can now select one of three options:

    • Insert: inserts the content into the text widget, by appending the content to the end.

    • Copy: copies the content to the user's clipboard

    • Retry: reruns the user's request with an increased temperature rating to produce a different result.

Each message sent by the user to the Conversational AI includes all the previous messages as part of the conversation context. In order to reset this, and start a new conversation the user can click the New Conversation button in the top right of the window.

  6. Once completed, the user is able to close the conversational window via the X in the top right-hand corner of the modal.

Rate And Token Limits For The AI Assistant (Beta)

Users can hit message rate limiting for three separate reasons:

User limit reached

Current limit: 15 messages per minute

If a user exceeds this limit, they will need to wait 1 minute until their rate limit resets.

Account limit reached

Current limit: 100 messages per minute.

Your organisation has a total limit of 100 requests per minute, shared among the users in your organization. If the users within your organization collectively exceed this limit, you will need to wait 1 minute until the limit resets.

If you or members of your organization are regularly exceeding these limits you can reach out to your administrator or Customer Support.

Token Limitations

The messages sent and received to the AI Assistant have a limit to their size based on tokens. The input limit is currently set to 4,000 tokens for context (the widget or text selection you are transforming), and 4,000 tokens for the prompt (entered into the sidebar text area). As a guide we have approximated this input to be around 15,000 characters each context and prompt inputs.

If a user exceeds this limit in either of these areas they will receive an error message and need to reduce their input size in order to get a response from the AI Assistant.
