In Content Workflow, you can use AI Assist to automate and scale content creation, management, and distribution further. AI is optional placing AI feature access firmly in your hands. Enabling and disabling AI is instantaneous and will affect all users on your account immediately.

Who?

Users who have Generate AI Content permissions can use this feature.

Why?

AI Assist empowers those responsible for generating editorial content to write, amend, and approve content quickly and easily at scale. AI Assist has a compliance trail, allowing your team to use the feature while ensuring compliant, plagiarism-free content that upholds your brand's reputation.

How?

Using AI Assist

  1. Select the AI Assist button in the formatting toolbar.
    • Alternatively, you can use the media toolbar by hitting Tab on a new line.
  2. Enter a prompt. Content is generated in response to your prompt and inserted into the text field. This allows you to generate a variety of content. With AI Assist you can ask questions, request article drafts, stories, and even poetry around your chosen subject. Bynder also provides prompts for you to use to get started.

Transform Existing Content

  1. Select content you'd like to transform, then choose the AI Assist option from the toolbar.
    • Alternatively, you can choose the AI Assist option from the toolbar in the header.
  2. You'll be asked to write a prompt. Simply provide some instructions that you'd like AI Assist to help with. Again, we've included some standard suggestions to get you started.
  3. After submitting a prompt, the response from AI Assist will be shown in the modal for you to review before inserting it into the field. You can extend or shorten the response or try again if you'd like AI Assist to have another go at your request.
  4. Click Replace to replace your selection with the new content.

Note: Prompts will be moderated upon submission in line with OpenAI's usage policies. Any prompt deemed to violate these policies will result in that individual user losing access to AI features. An email notification will be sent to both the user and the account owner with further details, including instructions on how they can regain access to AI.

AI Content Filter

Select the AI content filter from the content hub to find any items that contain AI content that are in your current view. This tool helps you manage both find-ability and accountability.

Content Highlighting

AI-generated content is always highlighted in purple. This allows you to identify AI content when scanning through content items quickly. Alteration to the generated content will remove the highlight, excluding format changes.

You can toggle the purple AI content highlight via the button in the status bar. Doing so only affects your experience, others will still see highlighted content.

Revision History

Revision history allows you to hover over AI content and will tell you who added that content. AI is also shown as a contributor to relevant revision snapshots.

Manage Workflow Access

To give you more granular control over AI use inside projects, AI can be disabled for individual workflow steps.

Example: Enable AI for early draft stages, to speed up the creation process, and then disable it for review stages to ensure human-only sense-checking.

Each workflow step will show the AI Assist setting in the settings panel. When editing a workflow, if this setting is enabled for your project.

Disable Access to AI

Disabling AI is non-destructive, meaning any content already generated by AI Assist will remain there until it is deleted by the user. Disabling AI on an account means AI Assist will become inaccessible to your team.

  1. Navigate to the settings of your chosen project and toggle the Access to AI setting off.

Tips for using AI

  • Use sparingly: AI shouldn't be seen as a replacement for humans but as an assistant. AI can't replicate human emotion or creativity.
  • Ask politely: Like humans, AI responds better to clear instructions. Use plain language and avoid typos to achieve the best results.
  • Check the response: AI isn't always right. Check to make sure you're happy with the response. AI is good with natural language but can't always discern fact from fiction.
