View Change History in your DAM

You can monitor modifications made on your portal in the Change history section. Here, you can view updates to Users, Permissions, Assets, Metaproperties, Collections, and Workflow. You have the option to export all changes as a CSV file.

Please contact Support to enable this feature in your portal. 

Who can see the Change history?

How to View Change History

  1. Navigate to Settings > Reporting > Change history.
  2. On the left-hand sidebar, select the section you want to explore: Users, Permissions, Assets, Metaproperties, Collections, or Workflow. You can view sections by various filters within each section.Screenshot 2024-03-21 at 12.22.46 PM.png

Users

You can see changes made to user fields, the method the user used to log in, or when a user is added or removed from a group. If you delete a user, you can only see their User ID, as their contact information will be removed from the portal. 

Permissions

Assets

See if an asset is deleted, archived, or marked as public. 

Metaproperties

See changes made to the metaproperty and taxonomy configurations to help audit changes in your portal.

Changed taxonomy 

See changes made to metaproperty, event types (i.e., created, deleted, imported), and the updated fields.

Changed taxonomy configuration

See changes made to taxonomy configuration related to sorting (index) and see if there have been changes to the required status of a metaproperty.

Collections

See changes made to collections created and shared.

Workflow

See changes made to workflows in Workflow.

How to Export to Change History to a CSV

You can export each report to a CSV file if you have permission. The CSV will not download automatically.

  1. Navigate to the Change History you would like to export. 
  2. Click Screenshot 2024-01-30 at 2.22.22 PM.png
  3. Once the export is ready, a number will appear next to the one in the top right-hand corner.   
  4. Click, which will open the Notification Center.
