Track AI Enrichment and Brand Compliance Jobs with In-App Notifications

Summary

Provide real-time visibility into AI Enrichment and Brand Compliance Agent jobs with in-app notifications. Notifications alert you at key stages of an Agent run, including when a run completes, fails, or requires manual review. Each notification contains a direct link into Agent Activity, allowing you to review and approve output changes without interrupting your workflow.

Who?

This feature is available to all DAM administrators and users working with Bynder's AI Enrichment Agents.

  • Permissions: No special permissions are necessary to receive notifications. You automatically receive updates for Agent jobs you trigger. Admins and managers do not get notifications for other users’ runs.

  • Availability: General Availability (GA) on portals with the Bynder AI Agentic Platform enabled.

  • Setup: Enabled by default. No additional admin configuration or Customer Success Manager (CSM) action is required.

Why?

Processing large batches of assets asynchronously can take time. In-app notifications eliminate the need to manually monitor job progress or remain on the run screen.

Key benefits and real-world applications include:

  • Review suggestions as soon as they are ready: Receive an instant notification when an agent completes a run. Users who started a run can navigate directly to Agent Activity to review a run output.
  • Oversight of automated changes at scale: Receive immediate alerts when runs using auto-apply for high-volume tagging complete or encounter errors. This creates a clear audit trail and provides early visibility into issues without checking every batch manually.
  • Uninterrupted multitasking: Continue working across Bynder while agents run in the background, knowing we will alert you the moment your input is required.

How?

Follow these steps to view and act on AI Agent notifications:

  1. Trigger an AI Agent run
    • Start a job on a single asset or batch of assets from the DAM repository or Agent Library. Runs triggered by an automation rule do not result in notifications.
  2. Receive an in-app alert
    • When the agent finishes processing, requires input, or encounters an error, a red indicator appears on the Notification Center (bell icon) in the top navigation bar.
  3. Open the notification
    • Click the Bell Icon to open your notification feed.
    • Review the alert details, which show the agent status (such as Completed and ready for your review, or Failed to run).
  4. Navigate to Agent Activity
    • Click the notification card. The portal opens Agent Activity with the relevant run pre-filtered.
  5. Review Agent run
    • Inspect the results of agent run.
    • Act upon actionable items, if any.

Best Practices & Limitations

  • Notification retention: In-app alerts remain in the Notification Center for up to 60 days.

  • Direct navigation: Click the notification card to bypass manual search filters and land on the relevant batch in Agent Activity.

  • Filter unread items: Toggle the Only unread switch in the Notification Center to isolate recent agent alerts from general portal activity.
