Would you like to use your Bynder assets as product images in SAP Commerce Cloud? Save yourself time and instead of uploading your assets twice, add your Bynder assets directly to your SAP Commerce Cloud products with our connector.
With the SAP Connector you can add Bynder assets to products in the Backoffice of your SAP Commerce Cloud environment and to your content in SmartEdit. By searching through your Asset Bank and/or collections you can find the assets you're looking for and directly add them. The integration uses the Bynder reference URLs, which ensures that your SAP product imagery always reflects the latest version available in your Bynder DAM.
When uploading a new asset to Bynder you can tag it with a unique identifier that is linked to a product in SAP. For example, a product ID. This way the connector can automatically sync the asset with the corresponding product in SAP. Optionally you can map the
Save yourself time and also use the SAP connector to send the metadata that is available in SAP back to Bynder. The information coming from SAP can be used to automatically tag your Bynder metaproperties with the correct data. Optionally you can set up a Bynder metaproperty that indicates for which SAP multiple media attribute fields this asset needs to be used. By selecting the appropriate metaproperty options upon upload to Bynder you can automatically ensure that the asset will be used for the appropriate SAP multiple media attribute fields.
To avoid security issues at all times the connector respects the user permissions from your Bynder portal. This way, you don't have to worry about users seeing and adding content they normally don't have access to.
The SAP Commerce Cloud connector has been developed and is updated by our partner Loop.
