Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a digital marketing platform offering various marketing automation tools. Would you like to use your Bynder assets in Salesforce Marketing Cloud? Save yourself time and instead of uploading your assets twice, add your Bynder assets directly in Marketing Cloud with the Bynder connector.
Reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Onboarding manager to request the installation URL.
Use the installation URL to install the package in your Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment and register the block widget URL. Follow these instructions for more information.
Log in to your Marketing Cloud environment.
Click the Content Builder button and click Content Builder in the dropdown that appears.
Find the content item, such as an email template, to which you want to add a Bynder asset. Click its name to open it. Alternatively you can click the Create button in the top right corner and click Email message to create a new email.
If you opened an existing content item click Edit > Edit Content in the top right corner.
Make sure that you're in the Blocks tab of the left sidebar and scroll to the Custom section.
Drag and drop the Bynder block to the position in your content where you want to add an asset. The Compact View will display in the Content tab of the left sidebar.
Click Connect if your company's Bynder portal URL is already filled in in the pop-up. If not, enter the URL in the below format. A popup will open, which allows you to login to your Bynder environment. Log in to the portal the usual way.
You can use Content Blocks to create reusable modular content for messages in Marketing Cloud. If a general Bynder Content Block has been set up for your Marketing Cloud environment you can create your own Content Blocks and enrich them with Bynder assets. You can then easily reuse these blocks for content creation in Marketing Cloud without having to manually add the asset each time.
Do you add the same assets, such as your brand logo, to each email you send out using Marketing Cloud? Save yourself some time and automate this process by making sure these assets are stored in your Bynder portal.
You can then create a Bynder Content Block and add your asset to it. This block can be reused in each communication you send out using Market Cloud. This will save you the time of having to manually search and add the same asset time after time. At the same time you don't have to worry about not using the latest version of the file. The moment the asset gets updated in Bynder the change will be automatically reflected in your Content Block.
When you've cropped or resized your Bynder asset in Salesforce Marketing Cloud it has been saved in the SFMC library. This means that when you add another version to that asset in Bynder or when you change the version of that asset within Bynder the update won't be automatically reflected in your Content Block. You'll have to manually update the asset in Marketing Cloud instead.
Log in to your Marketing Cloud environment.
Click the Create > Content Blocks > Bynder to create a new block with a Bynder asset.
Depending on your setup the name of the Bynder block may vary.
The Compact View will display in the Content tab of the left sidebar.
Click Connect when your company's Bynder portal URL is already filled in in the pop-up and you're not logged in yet. If not, enter the URL in the below format. A popup will open, which allows you to login to your Bynder environment. Log in to the portal the usual way.
