Portal Owners / Admins
Portal owners are the primary administrators of Bynder. They ensure the system stays relevant, organized, and effectively utilized. Acting as the main point of contact with Bynder, they drive adoption, collect feedback, and promote best practices. Each organization should assign 1-2 portal owners.
Responsibilities
- Update the dashboard (homepage).
- Manage users in collaboration with Champions.
- Conduct regular audits. maintain assets and up-to-date taxonomy (metaproperties).
- Manage the approval process for assets in the Waiting Room.
- Main point of contact within the organization.
- Train Champions.
Best Practices
- Schedule regular meetings with internal Bynder Champions to gather and share user feedback.
- Maintain ongoing updates with your Customer Success Contact.
- Engage with the Bynder Community to connect with other customers.
- Conduct NPS surveys to gather insights from end users.
- Participate in Bynder webinars to stay informed about product updates.
Champions / Regular Users
Champions act as internal advocates for Bynder, providing first-line support and training for end users. Each department or location should have at least one Champion with a Regular or Admin profile.
Responsibilities
- Stay informed about new Bynder features and developments.
- Provide feedback to Portal Owners.
- Train and support end users.
- Act as the primary support resource for end users.
Best Practices
- Attend monthly internal Bynder Champion meetings.
- Participate in Bynder customer webinars.
- Engage with other Bynder customers through the Bynder Community.
End Users / Light Users
End users are the trained, day-to-day users of Bynder. They leverage Bynder to access and manage assets while providing valuable feedback through Champions to improve the platform.
Responsibilities
- Use Bynder regularly to access your organization's latest assets.
- Share feedback and improvement suggestions with Champions.
Best Practices
- Provide constructive feedback to Champions to enhance the user experience.
- Stay informed through communications from Champions.
- Participate in surveys and NPS initiatives to support platform improvement.
