Would you like to open up your DAM to external users who aren't logged in? Make use our our open Asset Bank features. With an open DAM users can access assets, collections and/or other modules such as Creative Workflow and Brand Guidelines without having to log in. You can combine an open DAM with a restricted one so that selected users will still be able to log in and see the filters or assets hidden for public users.
A good use case for an open Asset Library is a museum that wants to present its collection to users without them having to log in.
Note
Make sure you have this feature enabled for your account. Contact your Bynder Customer Success Manager for information and help with the setup.
An open Asset Bank allows you to open your DAM, collections and/or other modules such as Creative Workflow and Brand Guidelines to external users. Users won't have to authenticate in order to see these sections of your Bynder portal.
The open DAM works with an open Asset Bank user who is assigned to an open Asset Bank permission profile. This way, you can determine what rights external users have in your portal. For example, what assets they're allowed to see and/or download as well as whether they can access other Bynder modules.
Note
The open Asset Bank permission profile and user should always remain available and can't be deleted. When this profile or user is removed the open DAM will no longer work.
Contact your Customer Success Manager if you would like to have parts of your DAM publicly accessible and provide them with the following information.
-
Which modules of your Bynder portal need to be publicly accessible. Check out the Bynder modules
-
The permissions you would like to have enabled for external users. Check out the available permissions
