Summary
In Bynder filters help users sort and refine searches in the DAM, allowing easy access to specific assets. Users can create and save custom filters in the Asset Bank to save time, improve your workflow, and share with other Bynder users.
Who?
This feature/solution is enable-able by a Bynder Admin.
Why?
Filtering assets allows for efficiency when searching the asset bank. Having filters is just another way Bynder assists in easy asset management.
How?
Creating Personal Asset Bank Filters
- Navigate to your Asset Bank.
- Select one or more filters and click Save filter.
- Enter the name of the filter. You can share it with another Bynder user or, if you have permission, or select Make it available for all users.
- Click Save.
- The filter is now visible in your Asset Bank under Personal.
Sharing Your Personal Filters With Other Users

Navigate to your Asset Bank.
- Select one or more filters and click Save filter.
- Enter the name of the filter.
- Type in the name of the user, user groups, or permissions profile to share the filter with. These users will receive an email with a link that will load the filter set. They can then save the set as their own filter selection.
Note: You can only edit and remove filters you created, not filters created by other users.
Editing Or Deleting Filters In Your Personal Asset Bank
- Navigate to your Asset Bank.
- In the top righthand corner, select Saved Filters Personal. Here, you can see all of the filters you've created.
- Find the filter you would like to rename, reshare, or delete.
- Click next to the filter name.
- Make your edit.
- Click Save.
Clearing Filters
- Select the
button to clear all of the selected filters.
- When you select
the Asset Bank, the Order by order will remain unchanged.
- When you select

button next to the filter name.
