Understanding Bynder's Notification Center And Email Notifications

Summary

Bynder's Notification Center keeps you informed about important portal activities, including asset uploads, collection sharing, and workflow updates. Based on direct user feedback, a suite of major improvements have launched. This update introduces highly requested features—such as the ability to delete notifications and save your filter preferences—alongside clearer error messages and distinct visual styling. Additionally, the rollout of fully refreshed system emails is complete, ensuring all automated notifications are fully branded to match your organization's identity.

Why?

Clutter-Free Workspace: The ability to delete notifications allows you to permanently clear out completed tasks and maintain a clean feed.

Seamless Session Persistence: The "Only unread" toggle now remembers your preference between sessions, saving you time and clicks every time you log in.

Faster Visual Triage: Updated styling makes different notification types (e.g., workflow updates vs. asset comments) visually distinct so you can scan and prioritize your work instantly.

Clearer Troubleshooting: Improved error messages provide direct, actionable clarity if something goes wrong.

Complete Brand Consistency: All system emails automatically feature your portal's custom logos and color schemes, removing visual discrepancies and ensuring a professional experience.

Understanding The Notification Center

The Notification Center interface allows you to easily track, filter, and organize your system alerts.

From this interface, you can take the following actions:

  • Filter and Toggle: Filter alerts by their specific feature type or use the Only unread toggle. The state of this toggle automatically persists between your active sessions, keeping your preferred view intact when you log back in.

  • Mark as Read or Unread: Manage your workflow by changing the read/unread status of alerts one-by-one or in bulk.

  • Delete Notifications: Permanently clear out notifications you no longer need to maintain a clean, organized inbox.

  • Identify Context Quickly: Review high-visibility notification styles that clearly distinguish between task types, complete with improved, descriptive error messages to help you troubleshoot actions instantly.Email Branding and Appearance

To ensure a consistent brand experience, Bynder automatically applies your portal's custom branding and theme settings—such as colors and logos—to all system emails sent from the platform. This guarantees a seamless, cohesive identity for your users across every automated communication.

Refreshed System Emails

All system-generated emails feature our refreshed, modern brand identity.

  • Consistent Security: While the aesthetics are modern and clear, all security protocols and sender information remain exactly the same. You can continue to trust these communications as official and secure updates from our team.
