Link Element Content with Content Properties in Studio

Content properties are set values for elements (shapes, images, videos, text) in a design that can be referenced and reused across Pages in Studio. Within Content Properties, you can link content between elements on the same or different Pages, allowing you to update content in one place for faster and more consistent content creation. When an element is updated that is referencing a content property, the changes will also be applied to any other element in the design referencing that content property.

How to Enable Multiple Pages in Studio Designs

Pages are available on certain Studio plans. Please contact your Customer Success Manager for more information and any associated costs.

  2. Either create a new design or edit an existing one.

  4. Under the Page section, select the + New Page or select an existing page.
  5. Under Layers, select the type of element you want to add to the page.
  6. Navigate to the right sidebar and click
  7. Name your Content Property.

  9. Navigate to a different page or create a new page within the same design.

Important Information

  • Linked elements will be highlighted in green.
  • You cannot link text styles or line breaks as they are part of the Content Setting.
  • If you apply a content property to a preset, it will not reflect the changes.
  • A content property is always created for a specific type of element. It is not possible to use a shape element content property for an image element.

  1. Navigate to the element you would like to detach.
  2. Select the element and click Three dots.png .
  3. Select Detached property.
  4. Detaching a content property will not remove it from the design; it can still be re-applied to elements.

Delete a Content Property

Deleting a content property will detach it from all elements and remove it from the design.

  1. Navigate to the element you would like to delete.
  2. Select the element and click Three dots.png .
