July 2022
As a valued Bynder customer, we wanted to let you know about some upcoming updates that’ll make your Bynder experience even better. We’ve outlined the updates below, which will be made available by Monday, July 25th, 2022 at 3 PM CET.
Struggling with structured content creation? You may remember that Bynder acquired GatherContent earlier this year. Well, we're now thrilled to reveal Content Workflow as the new, DAM-integrated centralized platform that brings the power of effortless content creation into perfect harmony with your existing asset library.
We are happy to announce several improvements to how users can create guides. We made adding building blocks faster, adding sections, and changing the title of a page or chapter easier, and we also enhanced the publishing flow.
The new masking allows Studio designers to create more complex, layered designs and animations. Users can now control the transparency of an element with other elements such as shapes, images and text.
To give you more space for creativity and extra room for precision, we have expanded the Studio work area beyond the canvas and improved the zooming functionality. Additionally, the new automatic guides help you position elements on the canvas and align them with other objects.
We are introducing two more self-service options (Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions) to empower our Bynder DAM admins to have easy access and more control over their portal configurations.

To help get the most of your Bynder experience, we've made some significant improvements to our DAM Taxonomy management that we'll be rolling out in the next few months. If you'd already like to know more, please get in touch with your Bynder representative.
We are happy to share that we also now offer a Multi-SSO (SAML) for our customers who need to integrate Bynder with multiple identity providers.
Our new Duplicate Image Finder has better performance and UI and supports PNG files. Now they can find, merge, and delete image duplicates with a few mouse clicks.
With only 0.3% of our users using the Contact Sheet View, we have decided to retire support for that functionality. We understand this could be a disruptive change for some users. Therefore we’re glad to inform you that several workarounds are available on the link below.
We have updated the permissions settings for DAT to provide more flexibility and control to manage and limit users' ability to view DAT URLs, transform assets, and use presets.
Our partner community continues to offer new integration points into Bynder. This cycle includes monday.com, Showpad, and updates to the Figma integration.
