By default, both chapters and pages within a guide are accessible to all users who have access to that guide. However, you can assign higher or lower permission levels to specific chapters or pages to enhance security and customization, overriding the default settings established at the parent guide level. This flexibility allows you to tailor access according to your organization's needs, ensuring that sensitive information remains secure while providing necessary visibility to authorized users
You can share Guides and Pages with internal users only as long as they have the Guide permission enabled in their permission profile.
How to enable this feature in your portal?
This feature is available with certain CX for User Community packages. To learn more please reach out to your Customer Success Contact.
Note
Depending on your CX User Community package, you can share with and give specific users, user groups, and permission profiles Viewer or Editor rights when you're on the Advanced or Enterprise plan.
There is a limit of 30 specific users to be selected to share. If you want to share with more than 30 users, you must create a group and add all the needed users. Groups are available with Advanced and Enterprise plans.
