Create and Apply a Theme Set in Brand Guidelines

A Theme Set in Brand Guidelines allows you to establish your brand colors, typography, and the design of the side and top navigation bars in your Brand Guidelines. By applying a theme set to a guide, you can quickly match the appearance of that guide to your brand identity. Once you've set up your brand colors you can apply them throughout your Brand Guidelines.

If you manage multiple brands with different brand identities, you can create multiple theme sets and apply different styles to each of your guides.

You can duplicate a theme set and adjust the necessary customizations instead of creating a new one from scratch, which can help you save time.

Your Guidelines come with a default Bynder theme set that cannot be edited or deleted.

  • If you're on the basic plan of Brand Guidelines, only one theme set will be available in Brand Guidelines.

FAQ

Is there a limit to the number of colors I can add to a theme set?

No, there is no limit to the number of colors you can add to a theme set.

How do I know which theme set is the default one?

The Default button will appear next to the default Portal theme set for your account.

Why is there an error sign next to my color?

The Bynder theme set will always be the default fallback option, so you can still create content (for example, text will be readable with Bynder gray on a white background). The portal theme set will have these as the default until you add brand colors.
