With the Magnolia CMS Connector, built by Magnolia, you can connect your Bynder portal with Magnolia's CMS solution allowing you to directly add the latest version of your Bynder assets to your Magnolia content without having to worry about brand consistency.

Upload or download assets to and from Bynder directly from the Magnolia UI and preview your Bynder assets in Magnolia with their preview feature. For simple image modifications you can use the Magnolia in-app asset editor. The connector also allows you to update basic asset information, such as the Bynder asset title and description and have the changes automatically reflected in Bynder.

In order for the CMS Connector to work you need the Magnolia DAM Connector Pack. Check the Magnolia Marketplace for more information about this package.

How to Use the Magnolia CMS Connector

  1. Go to the Magnolia content page where you want to add a Bynder asset to.

  2. Add a new component.

  3. Click the Type of component dropdown and select Text and external image.

  4. When selecting an asset, choose from the configured Bynder provider to access your Bynder assets.
