If you integrate Shutterstock with Bynder, the files you have purchased on Shutterstock will be automatically copied over to Shutterstock tab in the Waiting room in Bynder. Then, when approved, they will be transferred to your Asset library.
The sync runs several times per day, so you can always be sure that your latest purchases are already in Bynder. The assets are copied over with Shutterstock metadata and tags.
When a Shutterstock image is copied over to Bynder, it's treated like a regular upload, so all configured Bynder derivatives are added to the image.
Your Customer Success Manager can help you set up the integration, however, you need to supply us with the following information:
Client ID, Client Secret, and Access Token generated by Shutterstock when you register your application at https://developers.shutterstock.com. Alternatively, we can generate this data for you.
the name of the Shutterstock license you use to purchase images .
whether you want assets to be uploaded to the Waiting room or directly to the Asset library.
When the plugin has been configured correctly, you will see the files you have bought from Shutterstock in your Waiting room or the Aseet bank (depending on the requested configuration). The plugin works retroactively, so the images you have bought before the plugin has been installed, will be copied over as well.
You can extend your search functionality in Bynder so that when the search in your brand portal does not give you any results, you can look further in Shutterstock. See Use the search bar to find assets
