This rating system means that everybody who is allowed to upload directly and edit, can setup and modify the rating system. The rating does not change the quality of the asset, but adds an extra dimension to your search.

Go to
Settings > Taxonomy > Metaproperties management and create a new metaproperty called Rating. -
Choose Select from the Type drop-down.

Select the following features of the metaproperty:

Editable
-
Filterable
-
Display field
-
Main Filter
-
Drilldown results
-
Empty options in filter
-
Show in grid view

Click the Save button. You will be redirected to the metaproperty overview screen.

Click the
button for the metaproperty you just created to add the rating options. -
Enter a name for a rating option in the Enter name field and press Enter.
Note
To avoid indexing issues the Name field cannot be modified once created.

(Optional) Modify the label in the Label field and click Save to save the changes.
Tip
Would you like to make use of star rating?
Copy this ★ symbol and paste it into the Label field.

Repeat the steps 6 and 7 as often as necessary to add all the desired rating options.

(Optional) You can add the Rating metaproperty as a smart filter, so that users can filter assets by a specific rating.
