UCV Google Chrome Extension
The Bynder Universal Compact View (UCV) Google Chrome extension will allow you to access your DAM anytime, anywhere. Enabling you to streamline workflows by accessing your Bynder portal online and using assets across email solutions, web-based applications, CMS, CRM, and any other system in your tech stack.
Allowing your marketing teams to seamlessly connect their digital assets stored in Bynder with their email creation workflows in Stensul. Enabling you to dramatically reduce email creation time without adding staff or sacrificing quality and with that improve your productivity.
This feature enables you to automatically move assets in your Google Drive Account to Bynder without downloading from Google Drive and re-uploading to Bynder. Adding metadata upon upload and automating waiting room requests by folder saves you time and effort.

Automated Due Dates
Setting Automated Due Dates for certain phases of the workflow will enable you to set clear expectations as well as the ability to scale setting timelines and schedules across larger content volumes. This will help you automate a previously mundane activity.
Improved Search Experience for Mobile Users
For both Android and iOS Bynder users we have made a number of improvements to the search experience. Among the new features that we are launching are a guide on how to perform a search, recent searches, search snippets, and pre-selected search terms. All making your experience smoother and faster.
Portal Theming Management
We are launching three completely new self-service pages from which DAM admins could manage the theming experience of their portals. Now they can change or upload fonts, favicon, and primary or secondary colors for free and without the help of Bynder. This functionality will be released gradually to our customer base, therefore not everybody will get it in this cycle release.
Improved Groups Management Overview and Permissions Management Pages
We are making groups management easier in the Bynder DAM by providing users with more user-friendly and modern UI of our Groups Management Page. In addition we are also releasing a few improvements that will allow our DAM Admins to grant permissions with more confidence.

Improved AVIF file output
AVIF output files were already supported in DAT. But now, our DAT customers will be benefiting from a better compression - the same quality AVIF output file as the original WebP file, but in a smaller file size. That means even more optimal asset delivery for your web pages.

Supporting multiple workflows inside a single project will allow you to facilitate more complex production procedures without the need to break up projects. This feature will benefit more complex teams, where they may have a basic workflow, and then a more specific workflow for certain types of content.
To allow Brand Guidelines users to find the content they are looking for faster, we’ve worked on a series of improvements to the search functionality - showing more granular results that can be narrowed down with filters.
Navigating through content in guides just got even more user-friendly. With clickable chapters and vertical expanding and collapsing of Table of Contents in the side menu, plus the option to navigate to the previous and next page in the page itself, users will find their way around the guides in no time.
Our Bynder DAM Admins will love our new UI of the Asset Overview Page Configuration! They can now easily configure metaproperties options displayed next to each asset in the Asset Overview Page under the grid or list view of the page.
Enrich assets with tags and metadata before uploading them into the DAM. Save time and avoid additional steps by editing assets with tags and metadata directly within Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Microsoft Office 365.

Assigning people to workflow steps is now possible at the item level as well as the workflow level. Increase operational efficiency and leave less room for errors as your content progresses through the workflow.
The new collection settings allow you to control how users interact with collections in your Brand Guidelines. You can adjust the collection layout and visibility of asset details and determine the download and redirection behavior - making it asset or collection specific.
Guide duplication we announced last was just a start - we have now added the ability to move pages across guides to accelerate the creation process further and save you time for the work that matters.
Color is one of the most critical elements to ensure brand consistency, so we give it the attention it deserves. In addition to the existing color picker, Studio admins and designers can now define a global palette of brand colors and make it accessible for every color selection property in the Studio editor.
Why re-create when you can import? Designers can re-use their Sketch files in Studio by importing them directly from the DAM. Photoshop import also got an upgrade - we’ve added support for shapes, groups, masks and blend modes
Our users know that Smart Filters are a core element of our Bynder DAM. Therefore, a small improvement in their performance is a huge benefit. We are happy to announce that this cycle we have improved the performance of our single list Smart Filters and users will experience them loading 2 to 5 times faster.
We implemented customer feedback and users will now find the taxonomy filters listed before the advanced filters on the menu and will also be able to see the full asset name in the asset detail view page. Both of these changes improve the mobile UX and align it further with our Bynder DAM web UX.
To reduce the security risk of downloading non-approved assets and give more granular control over asset downloads in Workflow jobs, it is now possible to configure per workflow stage which assets can be downloaded in a job and by whom.
Connect Bynder to Google Drive, Box, and Dropbox to sync finalized assets to Bynder for use and distribution. When an asset is added to any synced folders, it will be sent over to Bynder’s Waiting Room to await admin approval and assignment of metadata.
Stay on top of changes within Bynder by easily configuring automated notifications for Slack and Microsoft Teams for updates within Bynder including upload, update, delete, and archive.

Bynder Studio introduces 16 different blend modes for its designers. With blend modes designers can make more complex and richer compositions, achieving effects they could not before. In addition, designers can now import PSD files directly from the Bynder DAM and save them as templates!

We are introducing also a few enhancements which will give more control to designers. For example, they can now limit the asset source to a specific collection and define what output types are available for Content Creators in the export screen.
We are introducing a Self-service Google SSO. This new feature enables you to set up and manage Google SSO in a self-service way. In addition you can use multiple SSO methods, combining SAML and Google!
We are happy to announce that we are in our second wave of gradual roll out of our new taxonomy management. Some of the new improvements are related to the ability to set custom translations for multilingual taxonomy, and the search bar for metaproperties. Want to know more? Now Bynder DAM users with “download public derivatives” permission can not only view an asset's public link but can also share it. Before they needed "edit original asset" rights in order to share. That stimulates content sharing and visibility of our customers' assets.
When creating transformations in the DAT UI (asset detail view, presets, and the Universal Compact View) you can now utilize image and color overlays. Select a PNG or JPEG from the DAM or color and adjust things like position and opacity over your original asset.
Enable quicker creation of on-brand Office documents across your organization. The Bynder Connector for Microsoft Office 365 provides access to your company assets, stored in your asset bank, directly in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

We are happy to announce new improvements to collections within Brand Guidelines. These include a more intuitive layout, automatic version updates, and direct downloads from within a guide to speed up processes and improve usability.
We want to make it easier for you to upload content into Bynder DAM while you are on the go. For example, if you are at an event and you need to upload some great shots into the DAM, you can do that easily without the need to log in beforehand. Just make sure you've enabled your upload permissions.
You told us you like our Zoom Slider functionality so much that you'd like to use it for viewing assets within a Collection. We’ve got great news for you. Your wish has been granted! Now you can find the Zoom Slider in Collections as well.
Bynder's LWC works across the Salesforce core wherever components can be used, enabling users to attach assets to Salesforce objects and display assets within Salesforce.

Struggling with structured content creation? You may remember that Bynder acquired GatherContent earlier this year. Well, we're now thrilled to reveal Content Workflow as the new, DAM-integrated centralized platform that brings the power of effortless content creation into perfect harmony with your existing asset library.
We are happy to announce several improvements to how users can create guides. We made adding building blocks faster, adding sections, and changing the title of a page or chapter easier, and we also enhanced the publishing flow.
The new masking allows Studio designers to create more complex, layered designs and animations. Users can now control the transparency of an element with other elements such as shapes, images and text.
To give you more space for creativity and extra room for precision, we have expanded the Studio work area beyond the canvas and improved the zooming functionality. Additionally, the new automatic guides help you position elements on the canvas and align them with other objects.
To help get the most of your Bynder experience, we've made some significant improvements to our DAM Taxonomy management that we'll be rolling out in the next few months. If you'd already like to know more, please get in touch with your Bynder representative.
We are happy to share that we also now offer a Multi-SSO (SAML) for our customers who need to integrate Bynder with multiple identity providers.
Our new Duplicate Image Finder has better performance and UI and supports PNG files. Now they can find, merge, and delete image duplicates with a few mouse clicks.
With only 0.3% of our users using the Contact Sheet View, we have decided to retire support for that functionality. We understand this could be a disruptive change for some users. Therefore we’re glad to inform you that several workarounds are available on the link below.
We have updated the permissions settings for DAT to provide more flexibility and control to manage and limit users' ability to view DAT URLs, transform assets, and use presets.
Our partner community continues to offer new integration points into Bynder. This cycle includes monday.com, Showpad, and updates to the Figma integration.
With this new development customers will be able to easily duplicate a page to build out guides much faster.
Users will now be able to control who has access to a design, project, or template and share them either with specific individuals or groups.
Designers can now add shapes to their video and animation designs.
We have listened to your feedback and we have improved the performance for listing and restoring assets on the Assets Trash Page.

As part of our initiative to improve UX for iOS users, we are introducing several improvements such as the ability to share assets via collection, displaying the recipients as Bynder users instead of phone contacts, and the removal of a download notification in case of native sharing.
We are introducing a set of new improvements to our SAP CC Connector such as the ability to automatically send assets from Bynder to SAP, automatic mapping of Bynder derivatives to SAP media types, the ability to send metadata from SAP to Bynder, and the ability to to utilize Bynder’s Dynamic Asset Transformation with SAP.
We are happy to introduce our new Salesforce Component compatible with Sales and Service Cloud products. With it, Salesforce users can search and select assets and content from Bynder DAM and attach them to any standard Salesforce object.

We continue to work with our partner community to offer new possible integration points across the ecosystem. This cycle, we are including a new Partner connector from Dataggo to integrate with Akeneo PIM Enterprise Edition.
Brand Guidelines sharing options are now more granular. For every user/user group/permission profile you share a Page or Chapter, users can assign a different level of access.
Because of the time stamping, users can maximize efficiency by enhancing the handling process and decreasing the time spent on finding the right uploaded assets.
With this new functionality, VBS allows Content Creators to adjust the video duration based on selected source videos. With it, users can now build video templates with ‘talking heads’ and modify existing videos by adding a logo, watermark, end card, sound relay, etc.
We now offer pre-designed video templates, which Designers can use and adapt to their own branding or needs.
Adding a link that takes you to the waiting room makes it easier to get straight to the assets awaiting approval. As long as you’re already logged in, clicking the link will take you directly to the waiting room where you can approve the assets shared with you.
DAM users can now search for a keyword in the text of .ai files. Now they can spend less time searching and more time designing.
We are introducing one unified header for consistency and ease of use across all Bynder modules. This helps to improve performance and navigation experience for our users.
We are introducing some great new updates to our DAT functionality. We are adding two new transformations based on clipping path, new, improved UI, and the ability to scale transformations using presets. Therefore, DAT now supports a larger number of use cases such as CMS, e-commerce, marketing automation, etc.
As of now, our iOS users can download not only the original but also the derivatives of an asset from the detailed asset screen.
This cycle we introduce two improvements to our integrations. For UCV access tokens can now be provided via configuration, allowing users to bypass the regular login flow. And for our WordPress integration we now support Featured Image for customers utilizing UCV, which allows users to select a consistent representative image for posts, pages, or custom post types.

Brand Guidelines Enterprise Plan users now have control over who has access rights to view or edit their guide groups.
Introducing a better user experience in our Design Modal. Marketers and Designers have different models now tailored to their needs.
We’ve improved the trim modal in our Studio by adding zoom controls to simplify setting the start and end point of your clip. Next to that, you can also set start and end points via numeric fields.
We have made performance improvements of the loading time of our Job Overview Page which results in better UX.
We’ve reworked some of our download functionality. The main benefit of it is that it provides streaming download functionality, which means a faster download experience, especially visible when downloading large amounts of assets or when doing bulk download tasks.
Our LATAM users can now switch their language in DAM and Brand Guidelines to Spanish Mexican.
We are introducing a new functionality called Flexible Asset Thumbnails in the Grid View of the Asset Overview Page. The new functionality allows users to zoom in and out on the asset thumbnails adjusting the size from S to XXL.
As part of our series of spotlight search improvements, users will now immediately see the search results appearing after hitting enter.
We’ve added a number of new improvements to DAT that our customers will be happy with. Now we support AVIF output, we increased the maximum size to 5000px of the derivatives, there is an option for public visibility for assets, compatibility with Mass Uploader, and finally we’ve made some improvements of the UX of DAT.
We continue to improve our UCV UI. With the new improvement users can see more of the metaproperties of the assets while using the compact view.
We have made integration with Bynder even easier. We have added functionality to our SDKs. Now developers can easily append information like limited usage, tags, and creation and modification date.
We continue to work with our partner community to offer new possible integration points across the ecosystem, this cycle we are including Highspot, for sales enablement.
Now users can easily sort assets based on the number of views. The most or least viewed assets will appear on the top of the asset overview page.
Connecting Bynder to the Dynamics marketing email engine enables marketers to ensure all assets used in campaigns are up-to-date and brand-approved.
We have made some improvements to Smartfilter searching. These include support for partial search queries, multiple partial search queries, and special characters in order to speed up the return of search results—and create a better searching experience.
We’ve improved the customer experience by adding new features to Brand Guidelines. There are now three plans - Basic, Advanced, and Enterprise.
For the Basic and Advanced plans, the changes include:
Introduction of 1 theme set or all guides with more advanced styling options, to better convey your brand within your guides

Users are now able to use multiple text styles within one text box in a template making it faster and easier to customize creations.

The Bynder GraphCMS UI extension lets you find and use your Bynder digital assets (images, videos, and documents) directly from within GraphCMS—saving editors' valuable time and ensuring brand consistency across all content.
Mobius Labs’ tagging provides a complex selection of descriptive and conceptual tags providing quick and precise search results and keywords. Mobius Labs’ SDK allows you to create different concepts around your brand while analysis of assets helps to generate the right visuals for your target audience. By utilizing Bynder images and videos with Mobius Labs, finding the most impactful assets for your needs has never been easier.
Users now have the option to adjust their default language in DAM and Brand Guidelines (navigation, menus). Options include: Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Turkish, and Polish. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager if you would like one or more languages made available in your portal.
We’re rolling out the DAM header bar within the Digital Brand Templates and Brand Guidelines modules in order to deliver a more consistent user experience across the entire platform.
Users are now provided with a list of their recent searches when clicking the search bar, making it easier to repeat past searches and find what you need fast.
With Dynamic Asset Transformation (DAT), you’re able to automatically transform and optimize content to support your digital experiences, and we’ve just added a few new tricks to it:
Adjust: Saturation, Temperature, Highlights/Shadows, Sharpness

Available through Canva’s App Marketplace, easily navigate through your Bynder Collections and add the assets you want into your designs in Canva.
EMRAYS is a customizable AI solution that can complement Bynder’s DAM with functionality like ranking of images by social impact (with attributes like positivity, wow, fun), comparing images across the asset library by similarity, and robust duplicate search.
With a new “Search Help” option available directly within the search dropdown menu, users can find search tips to easily navigate searching within Bynder and find exactly what they need when they need it.
With Dynamic Asset Transformation (DAT), you’re able to automatically transform and optimize content to support your digital experiences, and we’ve just added a few new tricks to it:

When a template admin adjusts the settings on one artboard in a template set, the settings will be automatically applied to all layers with the same name across all artboards in the set. This applies to locking, enabled font colors, image sources, and text auto-shrink settings. For example, if you lock a logo in one artboard, it will lock all logos for the other artboards in the set.
To make localization or creating new versions for testing easier, you can now duplicate an existing document from the overview or editor and make edits, instead of having to create it from scratch from a template.

In the last update, we released the ability to edit multiple artboards within one editor for our Advanced Digital Brand Templates users. Now, you’ll be able to pick and choose the artboards you want to download, send to the asset bank, or send to the waiting room individually or in groups. They can also be exported as zipped files!
We also released a few other features to make working with Digital Brand Templates even better - rename artboards and upload images from your computer for campaign cover images.
To make reviewing assets in workflow more powerful, now you can tag users in annotations, view annotations sorted by page, and resolve annotations.
Now in the guide overview, guide managers can select guides to feature so they show up on the top of the screen when users view all guides available to them.
Guide editors can now add more custom color values to the color palette widget as well as edit HEX, RGB, and CMYK values.
Search for guides by chapter and page titles in the Bynder search bar, making your guides and pages easier for users to find.
When embedding collections on a guide’s page, choose between showing 4, 8, 16, 32, or 48 of the assets within that collection, directly on the page in the guide.
For added customization and flexibility, editors are now able to add sections between sections and move sections within the guide.
