Audio Widgets in Brand Guidelines

Would you like to enrich your Brand Guidelines content with an audio sample, podcast or music file? With the audio widget you can add your audio assets to a Brand Guidelines page.

How to enable audio support for Brand Guidelines

Additional configuration may be necessary in order to add audio assets to the audio widget in Brand Guidelines. Contact your Onboarding Manager or Customer Success Manger to have this feature enabled for your portal.

How to add audio

  1. Before adding your audio asset make sure it is marked as public.

    Note

    Audio assets that are not public cannot be added to the audio widget in Brand Guidelines.

  2. Go to the Brand Guidelines page where you want to add the audio.

  3. If applicable, click the Edit Guide button.

  4. Click the + icon to add a section.

  5. Click the + icon to add a widget and click the audio_widget.png button.

  6. Use the Compact View to search of filter for the audio asset you want to add and click Add media to add the audio file.

The audio file can now be played by end users.

How to modify previously added audio

  1. Go to the Brand Guidelines page where you want to change the audio.

  2. Click the audio widget of which you want to modify the audio used.

  3. Use the Compact View to search of filter for the audio asset you want to add and click Add media to add the audio file.

The audio is now modified and can be played by end users.

How to remove an audio widget

  1. Go to the Brand Guidelines page where you want to remove an audio widget.

  2. If applicable, click the Edit Guide button.

  3. Hover over the audio widget you want to remove and click the remove_brand_color.png icon.

  4. Read the warning message carefully and click Delete to permanently remove the audio content.

Note

This action cannot be undone.

FAQ

Why do I get to see the following error message when trying to add an audio file: "Your account settings do not allow you to add any audio files. Please contact your administrator to enable access."

The file you're trying to add is not marked as public. Mark the file as public first and try adding it again.
