The filters are commonly found in the top bar of the Assets overview. They aid in efficient asset search by refining options. Expanding the filters allows you to view various choices and select options to narrow your search. You can apply multiple filters simultaneously to enhance accuracy, such as taxonomy, tag, and Advanced filters.
Taxonomy filters rely on your metaproperties and options. If enabled, the Advanced filter allows you to sort by asset type (e.g., video or document), file extension, dimensions, date added, or asset orientation (e.g., portrait or landscape). In addition, you can search for assets that are not watermarked assets or for assets that are marked as public. The Tags filter lets you search for specific tags assigned to assets.
Combining multiple filters will show you the result according to the AND logic: in the example above, the filtered view will display assets tagged with Asia, Spring, AND Documents. This means that assets that only satisfy some (and some) of the filtering conditions won't be shown.
When you close your filters to view the results, your filter selection remains visible in the top bar to help you track the filters you applied.
You can save your filter selection to save time finding and applying the same filters the next time you want to find the same set of assets.
Clear Filters
- Select to clear all of the selected filters.
- When you select the Asset Bank, the Order by order will remain unchanged.
- To remove individual filters, select the filter name next to it.
Smart Filters
Better organize your filters by using Smart Filters. With Smart Filters, you can display multiple metaproperties in one drop-down menu item, which makes your portal more user-friendly.
Filters in Compact View
You can also use filters in the Compact View when you relate assets.
Note
You can save time while searching for assets by filtering for your "public" assets or assets that are NOT marked as "archived," "watermarked," or "limited usage."
