Tags are a fundamental part of your taxonomy. They help you to better classify and describe your assets. Whereas metaproperties target a broader range, tags can be used to provide detailed information on an asset level. You can manually tag your assets or make use of our automated tags. Our automated tags are powered by Rekognition, which is a service offered by Amazon Web Services.
Once your assets are tagged users can search and filter on specific tags. By tagging you make your assets stand out more and easier to find.

Bynder can automatically tag your images after upload. Bynder AI is powered by Rekognition, a service offered by Amazon Web Services. This service can identify thousands of objects and analyze facial expressions to accurately provide your assets with the right tags. Shortly after upload the automated tags will be available under the Automated Tags dropdown in the asset detail screen.
Contact your Customer Success Manager if you would like to have automated tagging enabled for your portal.
Note
The automated tags are not visible in the upload screen. After upload it might take a while before the automated tags are available under the Automated Tags in the asset detail view.
Automated tags are only generated for assets that are uploaded the default way using drag and drop or the Upload media button. Assets coming from Creative Workflow and/or the Waiting Room won't be tagged with automated tags.
