How do I change a video thumbnail?

Follow Print

When you upload a new video to Bynder, by default the first frame is chosen as a thumbnail. And often that thumbnail is a black frame which looks like this:

If you have a series of black thumbnails next to each other, it hard to recognise a specific video. But it is possible to change the thumbnail to your preference.

Click on the video asset, go to Edit > Advanced Rights and click on Generate new thumbs.

Select the frame you prefer as a thumbnail with your mouse and following click on the "Current video position" button.

Within 15 minutes the new Thumbnail will be ready.
