Edit Templates in Studio

After you create a template from a design or a ready-made gallery template, you can edit it, save it, and publish the updated version.

Who can edit templates in Studio?

Users with the following permissions can edit templates

  • Admin
  • Content Designer
    • In addition to the above permission, you must also be the template's owner, or the original owner must make you a contributor.

Edit a Template

  1. Navigate to Studio.

  4. Hover over the template you would like to edit and select click Screenshot 2024-02-09 at 3.48.10 PM.png
  5. Select Edit template.Screenshot 2024-02-27 at 2.16.07 PM.png
  6. This will open the template in the editor.
  7. Once you are done making changes to the template, you can either click Three dots.png in the upper right-hand corner and select Save Changes to make the changes visible only to you. If you would like to Publish the changes, click Publish Changes to make these changes visible to all users with access to the template.  Screenshot 2024-02-27 at 2.17.43 PM.png


If a designer creates a design based on the original template, will their design change if the template changes?

No, if a user created a design based on the "older" version of the template and that template changes, it will not be reflected in the previously created designs.
