A content size limit is in place to ensure your Guides load quickly. Each guide can be up to 5MB, roughly equivalent to 4 million characters. This limit applies regardless of how many pages or chapters the guide contains. Whether you have a single long page or multiple pages, the total content must stay within this size. If you approach the limit, a message will appear at the bottom of the page, prompting you to either remove content or create a new guide.

What's the main factor for reaching the maximum size of a guide?
Guide sizes are primarily determined by the number of text characters, with a 5MB limit (around 4 million characters). The Text Widget is the main contributor to reaching this limit. Embedded images and videos have minimal impact since their size is based on the URL’s character count, not the media file size stored in the DAM YouTube or Vimeo.
