Summary
Once you are done with a design in Studio, you can export your variation(s) to either the Waiting Room to be added to the Asset Bank, or download the variation(s) to the users device.
Who?
This feature/solution requires your Customer Success Contact to enable, but then individual permissions can be done by the Bynder Admin.
Once Studio is enabled this feature is available to all users.
Why?
Studio users need to be able to use the creations made in Studio within Bynder, or other external tools.
How?
Export A Studio Design
- Navigate to Studio.
- Select the design you would like to export.
- You can either:
- Hover over a design and click the
button -> Select Export
- Or, open up your design, and click Export in the top right corner.

- The export pop-up will open, and from here users can select the variation(s)/pages. Press the Change Selection button to open a more detailed view of the variation(s)/pages, to give higher visibility for the export. Once you press save selection you will be brought back to the original pop-up window.
- Choose where you would like the variation(s) to go:
- Waiting Room: This will go to the Waiting Room, where it can be approved and added to the DAM.
- Download: This will download to the users device.
- Decide what file format is best for the download/export.
- Press the download (#) file button.
- The download will begin, and a pop-up window will appear. This pop-up will have a clickable View in Activity section that brings users to the Activity Log.
Activity Log
You can view the status of your exports in the Activity log. Here, you can filter by Type, or Status. You can also delete an export in the Activity Log.
